SMOOSY Terms of Service
For the use of SMOOSY (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”) as provided by Atlas Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Atlas”), the SMOOSY Terms of Service as stipulated in the Common Terms of Service as individual use conditions will apply in addition to the Atlas Common Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as the “Common Terms of Service”) as stipulated by Atlas. The user shall use the Service after agreeing in advance to the SMOOSY Terms of Service and the Common Terms of Service (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Terms”).
SMOOSY Terms of Service
Article 1 About the data and personal information that will be collected
- Atlas shall appropriately handle personal information based on the Personal Information Protection Policy.
- The agreement parties shall comply with the laws and regulations of the national government and other parties that apply in relation to personal information and to comply with the Terms, shall use the users' personal information that is provided based on the next clause, and shall disclose their respective personal information protection policies to all users.
- When a user registers for participation in a seminar or event, Atlas shall provide the personal information of the user to the organizer (including parties outside Japan) of the seminar or event within the scope that is necessary for participation, and the user shall agree to that provision. The organizer of the seminar or event will manage the personal information of users. The organizer of the seminar or event will use the personal information to hold the seminar or event, ensure the user’s participation, and provide information and materials about related events.

The personal information of users will not be disclosed without the consent of all users to parties other than cooperating companies that have concluded a confidentiality agreement. Provided, however, that personal information may be disclosed in the cases listed below.
- When Atlas reasonably judges that disclosure is necessary based on a law or regulation
- When disclosure is necessary for the purpose of protecting a person’s life, body, or property, and it is judged that obtaining the relevant person’s agreement is difficult
- When disclosure is particularly necessary for the purpose of improving public health or promoting the sound upbringing of children, and it is judged that obtaining the relevant person’s agreement is difficult
- When it is necessary to cooperate with a national government organization, a local government, or a party that received consignment from a national government organization or a local government executing clerical administration stipulated in a law or regulation, and it is judged that there is a possibility that obtaining the relevant person’s agreement will cause hindrance to execution of that administration
- When the service entity has changed because of a merger or another reason, and it is judged that it is necessary to transfer personal information for the purpose of continuation of the service
Article 2 Copyrights and other intellectual property rights
- The texts, photographs, and other intellectual property rights provided in the Service will attribute to the agreement party or the organizer of the individual seminar or event. The editorial copyrights related to the Atlas site’s layout and design will attribute to Atlas. The user can use that information only for a personal purpose within the scope of use of the Service, and the reproduction, distribution, public transmission, or any other use of that information for a purpose other than use of the Service shall be prohibited.
- If the user infringes the agreement party’s copyrights, patent rights, trademark rights, or other intellectual property rights in relation to the use of the Service and damage arises, the user shall provide compensation to the agreement party.
- The user shall declare and guarantee to Atlas that the user possesses the lawful rights to conduct registration or other transmission of the registered data and that registered data does not infringe the rights of third parties.
- The user consents to the fact that the agreement party will edit the submitted data that is registered by the user.
- Atlas shall not bear any liability for providing and handling information related to copyrights and other intellectual property rights as submitted by the user or problems related to copyrights or other intellectual property rights, and if a problem arises with an organizer of a seminar or event, another user, or another third party in relation to the copyrights or other rights, the user shall resolve that problem at its own liability and expense.
- For content (including but not limited to texts, images, videos, and other data) that is submitted or otherwise shared through the Service, Atlas shall be able to change, remove, or otherwise modify the content within the scope that is necessary for the smooth provision of the Service or for building, improvement, or maintenance of an Atlas system.
Article 3 Participation in seminars and events
- The user can use the Service to participate in seminars and events held by each seminar and event organizer. Each seminar and event will be provided by the individual organizer, and Atlas will not bear any liability in relation to the holding or operation of the relevant seminar or event and will not bear any liability whatsoever for problems or damage that may arise between the user and an organizer of a seminar or event.
- If Atlas judges that the user’s registered data violates the Terms, Atlas can, without obtaining the user’s consent, suspend the display of that registered data or delete that registered data.
- Even if damage arises for the user for deletion based on the preceding clause, Atlas will not bear any liability whatsoever for the damage that arises.
Article 4 About the use of cookies
The Service uses cookies for the purposes of user authentication and improvement of user convenience. Cookies may also be used on other websites to which links are displayed in the Service. In such a case, the use of cookies by that other website will be conducted according to the site operator’s policy.
Supplementary provision
Established on December 24, 2024
